Who Am I?



1.) I have a bear named after me.
 2.) I was a governor.
3.) I was part of a famous cavalry unit.

I had a feeling this person was going to be too easy so I tried to pick obscure facts. How did  I do?

    Hmmm...I'm thinking Teddy (Theodore) Roosevelt. I guess I didn't find them obscure facts....Unless I'm wrong about who it is.
