I hope I didn't make this too easy...I originally had a different clue for number two but when I asked someone else they said it was too obvious.
1.) My journey is famous
2.)On my travels I meet many people with unusual names
3.) My story ends after I swim a river.
Well...I fear you have me stumped. The only story right now that I can think of that ends with a swim in the river is the gingerbread man, and well, he didn't exactly swim. Rode on a fox, I believe, and got eaten in the end
ReplyDeleteChristian (at least, I think that is his name) off of Pilgrim's Progress.
ReplyDeleteHaha! Well Grace, I'll give you a hint: it's not the gingerbread man! Perhaps you are not familiar with this story though I would have suspected it was one we all grew up with.
ReplyDeleteJosie, any ideas before I give the answer?
Oh, and Grace, I am truly sorry. It seems like my posts this week are not going so well for you! Perhaps Faith will do a better job next week... :z
ReplyDeleteWell, now that Faith mentioned Christian, it makes sense. I actually haven't read Pilgrim's Progress, but I am familiar with the story and have heard many abridged versions. Many of the story's details that I did know have escaped me in recent years.
ReplyDeleteWell since it has been several days and Josie hand' t guessed yet I'll go ahead and tell the answer. Faith was right, it was Christian.
ReplyDeleteThe original second clue said, " I lose my backpack on the way". But I was told that made things too easy.
Oh, sorry, I didn't see this until now!
