I had a feeling this person was going to be too easy so I tried to pick obscure facts. How did  I do?

I had trouble coming up with a Who Am I this week, so this might be pretty easy.

1)  I am a doctor.
2)  I used to share an apartment with a brilliant man.
3)  I have a British accent.

Here is this week's Who Am I!  I didn't put very much thought into this one due to extreme busyness.  So...yeah...anyway...    :) 

1)  I am extremely loyal.
2)  Adventures are okay, but I would prefer to be at home.
3)  I have always really wanted to see some elves.

I hope I didn't make this too easy...I originally had a different clue for number two but when I asked someone else they said it was too obvious.

I tried to make this a bit harder this time. Not sure I succeeded :)

1) Many children know me, though we've never met.

2) Me and my little friends tend to make big messes, but I always clean up.

3)  I'm not known by my name, but by the hat on my head.

It's time for our first "Who Am I?" I will write from the perspective of a popular character from a book, and it will be your job to guess who I am. Just for curiosity's sake, I'm going to create a list of hints, and in the comments you can tell me which hint # you figured me out on. If no one can figure it out, I will post more hints if you wish or simply tell you who I am. (Honestly, I think this might be too easy.) Have fun! (And I do apologize if this is a character not everyone is familiar with).
