Well, I'm off to college this week. I'm going to miss blogging with you all. It's been so much fun! I will still try to post on occasion. I just don't know how often it will be, especially as I adjust to a new schedule. Anyway, if anyone wants to volunteer for anything this week...

Weekly Newsletter

Well, I about forgot about this... Just a warning, I might not get much posted this week because of VBS, and the week after I'm leaving for college. I'm going to see what I can do to finish up the What If... I've been sick this weekend so that's partly why I didn't get it done Friday.

Weekly Newsletter

Well, L.A.R.K. Writers, I've got good news, and I've got bad news. The good news is... L.A.R.K. has almost been running for a full 2 years! About the middle of next month will be our second birthday! :) It's been a lot of fun. I've learned and written things I probably wouldn't have written if it weren't for this blog.
Thank you, Hope (Kelpie) for bringing us all together.

Now for the bad news. Faith is unable to continue posting with us, especially with school just around the corner. If only we didn't all grow up so fast... I, too, will be heading off to college soon and don't know how much time I'll have for blogging. I'm going to try, because I hate saying goodbye, but I know my posts will be few and far between.

I guess what I want to say is this: We may not be able to keep this blog up much longer as the future takes us down separate paths into adulthood, but don't abandon your writing. You all have a gift, a wonderful tool to use for God's glory. Don't leave it hanging in the garage or sitting in the tool shed. God gave it to you because it's meant to be used.

Now I'm not saying you should try to write a book and get published. Rather, I'm saying find a way to use your writing in your daily life to make a difference for someone else. Whether it be a simple note, a letter, a Sunday School lesson, a Facebook message, or an email, use it. You don't have to be a famous author. You just have to use your tool.

I'm praying for all of you and your futures!

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." ~Jeremiah 29:11
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Okay, now let's get down to actual business. Here's a tentative schedule for this week:

- Challenge (Kelpie, maybe???)

- What If... (Grace) Sorry I didn't get it done last week!

- Devotion (Volunteer Needed)

- Tip Tuesday or Word Wednesday (Volunteer Needed)

Weekly Newsletter

Happy Summer, everyone! I'm guessing most of us will be busy this week with the 4th coming up, so I totally understand if you don't volunteer this week. I'll be making a wedding cake for the first time also, so I might not get much posted either. Thankfully, Kelpie pre-volunteered to post a story for this week, so you can look forward to that.

Weekly Newsletter

Hello Lark Writers! Just a heads up, but I'm going to be on vacation half of this week and part of next, so I probably won't get much posting done. I've already started the next part to Guardian, however, so I'm going to put my name down for the story again.

- Devotion (Volunteer Needed) Just write a reflection on a verse or something you've learned or whatever your inspired to write to encourage others on in the Lord.

Weekly Newsletter

I would post a tentative schedule, except I'm not exactly sure what to expect. It is Faith's turn to post, and since I still haven't got the next What If... posted, I'll probably post it sometime this week also.

However, I was going to ask if you all would like to cut the schedule out for now and just go back to posting whenever we feel like it. It seems like we've all been kind of busy or burn-out, and I know the summer can get crazy. What are everyone's thoughts on this? After this summer I'll be off to college, and I have a feeling I won't be able to post much.

Sorry I probably won't post the next What If part yet. I'm studying for an AP test on Thursday, so the chances of me getting it done are pretty slim. I may, however, share a play I wrote for school.

Weekly Newsletter - Happy Easter!

Well, as you probably noticed, I didn't complete my blogging responsibilities last week, and I had planned on posting a special Easter story for today, but .... I'm not finished. I'm going to blame it on having big cake project. So if I don't post everything this week, just assume I'm doing another cake.

Here is what I have planned but may or may not get done :)

- Easter Story (Unnamed so far, Grace)

- Tip Tuesday (Grace)

- Word Wednesday (Grace)

- What if ... (making up for last week, Grace)

"But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they went to the tomb, taking the spices they had prepared. And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they went in they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men stood by them in dazzling apparel. And as they were frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but has risen." ~ Luke 24:1-6a (ESV)

LARK Weekly Newsletter - A Bit Late

Hello, again, Larkwriters!

I apologize that this is late...Honestly I don't have a good excuse. I just simply forgot. Anyway, here is what to look forward to this week:

- Story (from Faith) I guess she kind of already posted one but maybe she'll surprise us with another :)

- Tip Tuesday (Faith)

- Word Wednesday (Faith)

- Also, sometime hopefully this week I'd like to post some new and edited blog headers that I've been messing around with that we can vote on. You can probably expect them later this week.

Happy April!

Oh, and real quick I have a praise. My new brother and sister will be adopted today! We're so excited!

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved."

~Ephesians 1:3-6 (ESV)

2. but my name is only mentioned once.

that I may walk in your truth;
unite my heart to fear your name."

Weekly Newsletter

Well, here we are again, Larkwriters, and I just realized today in Church that it is my turn to post this week... I'm not sure what I'll be posting, but it's destined to be interesting considering I don't have anything finished yet. Good motivation, I guess. Anyways, here's a tentative list of what to look forward to this week:

- Story, A Typical Dream (if I get it finished, Grace) Basically I'm trying to capture the essence of being in a dream. So far it's really weird, but hey, it's been kind of fun.

- Word Wednesday (Grace)

- Who Am I? (Grace)

- Cont. Sharing of Testimonies (Josie & Faith hopefully)

He has made everything beautiful in its time.
Also, he has put eternity into man's heart,
yet so that he cannot find out what God has done
from the beginning to the end.
